Airport Services Manager Job

Are you a seasoned professional seeking a challenging role in airport operations? We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to join our team as Airport Services Manager.

  • Evaluate and improve alliance, airport passenger handling strategies in conjunction with revenue management affecting station's flight schedules.

The successful candidate will manage the daily operation and act as liaison between airport service providers, government agencies and authorities, and senior management. They will provide inputs and recommendations to management regarding short and long-term service improvements/changes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Assess and foresee manpower planning in conjunction with peaks, holidays, seasonal or additional flights.
  2. Manage aircraft turnaround checks (ATC) duties to ensure safe operation of ground ramp product.
  3. Ensure that aircraft cabin service doors are operated from the outside where applicable to facilitate and reduce associated safety risks.
  4. Evaluate and recommend processes improvements to enhance service delivery standards.
  5. Coordinate with One World Carrier for support during disruptions.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  1. Relevant College or University qualification to min Bachelor's level.
  2. Minimum 5 Years Relevant Experience.
  3. Experience at a Managerial role.
  4. Proven experience in Crisis Management.
  5. Wide and varied training courses attended and skills gained in an airline environment.
  6. Extensive overall knowledge of all areas and the airline / airport operation.
  7. Good Command of English language.
  8. Organizational and management practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies, and operational needs.
  9. Customer focus - empathy towards Customers.
  10. Principles and practices of program development, budget preparation and administration.
  11. Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow.
  12. Able to work under pressure.
