Airport Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Airport Operations Manager to lead our Ground Services team in Canberra, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, secure, and efficient airport operations at the station to achieve regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to evaluate alliance and airport passenger handling plans in conjunction with revenue management affecting station flight schedules.
  • Assess and forecast manpower planning in conjunction with peak seasons, holidays, and additional flights.
  • Manage daily airport operations and serve as liaison between airport service providers, government agencies, and authorities, and senior management.
  • Provide critical inputs and recommendations to management regarding short-term and long-term service improvements/changes.
  • Act as primary contact and liaison person for all areas of the QR airport operation at the station.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant college or university qualification, minimum 5 years' relevant experience, and experience at a managerial role. Proven experience in crisis management, wide training courses attended, and skills gained in an airline environment are highly desirable.
