The Role

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will drive positive change in the workplace, advising leaders and workers on health and safety matters. Your responsibilities include:

  • Promoting a continuous improvement culture and implementing best practice management systems.
  • Monitoring daily site tasks and providing advice on risks and controls.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, regulatory, and legislative requirements for Health and Safety.
  • Providing OHS induction and training to all employees and subcontractors.
  • Managing Subcontractor compliance.
  • Undertaking audits to verify compliance.
  • Investigating injuries, incidents, and near misses, recommending corrective actions.

You will be part of our team that prioritises employee welfare and strives for excellence in health and safety practices.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification, and membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation, communication, and organisation skills.

Estimated Salary: AU$90,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. If you are passionate about driving positive change in the workplace and have the required skills, please submit your CV and cover letter for this opportunity.
