Role Overview

InvoCare, a leader in funeral, cemetery, and cremation services, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to support the company's growth and success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a framework for facilities management across InvoCare's extensive asset portfolio, working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to manage maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilities Management: Develop and implement a framework for facilities management, including the coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Asset Management: Play a key role in developing and maintaining the Asset Register.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain safety standards, environmental regulations, and conduct regular location safety inspections.
  • Space Management: Assist in planning and coordinating location moves, space utilization, and any required reconfiguration.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in the preparation and management of the overall Asset & Facilities budget and monitoring ongoing expenses.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in facilities management or a related support service field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, including problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven client and stakeholder management orientation and ability to implement and manage client-focused service delivery.
  • Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software.
  • Demonstrated creativity in the development of innovative solutions required within a complex environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
