Scientist Gr 3 Special Haematology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientist Gr 3 Special Haematology to join our team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a key member of our Haematology department, you will be responsible for providing pathology services with expertise in Special Haematology, including Flow Cytometry, Cryopreservation, Haemoglobin Electrophoresis & Molecular haematology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for the management of the Special Haematology Laboratory, including inventory control and budgetary compliance.
- Participate in workload management and workflow optimization.
- Develop and implement training programs and assess competency.
- Maintain, evaluate, and implement procedures and instrumentation.
- Contribute to the Management Team of the Haematology Laboratory.
- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more aspects of Special Haematology.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven history of effective training and development of staff.
- Current national criminal history check or willingness to obtain.
