
Claims Management Professional

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Case Manager or Senior Case Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to manage claims and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of NSW Workers Compensation insurance claims to achieve early and sustainable returns to work with reasonable claim costs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including workers, employers, doctors, and providers, to identify compensation needs, review coverage, and provide advice.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of insurance claim liability and entitlements for weekly payments and medical expenses.
- Assist workers and employers throughout the claim process, providing support in completing relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services.
- Monitor, settle, and close out claims within the portfolio.
- Deliver high-quality customer service and coordinate with key stakeholders.
- Complete administrative tasks aligned to portfolio management, including payment processing, documentation review, and correspondence.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in workers' compensation insurance coverage and claims management approach.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience managing claims in the Australian workers' compensation insurance industry or overseas workers' compensation frameworks.
- Knowledge of the NSW workers' compensation scheme, legislation, and policies, or ability to quickly acquire necessary knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Resilience and ability to hold complex conversations.
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
