Job Title: Senior Broadcast Technologist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Broadcast Technologist to join our team in the brand-new state-of-the-art Sydney office.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the best in the industry, maintaining, upgrading, and responding to faults regarding studio, network, broadcast systems, and transmission technology.

  • Maintain high-quality support and effective broadcast technology operations.
  • Provide preventative maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Assist with related hardware and software support including Zetta, Axia, Q-Sys, Broadcast Bionics, NewsBoss.
  • Design, plan, and implement new technology and systems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of any additions or changes to infrastructure.
  • Maintain quality control on all work carried out by or on behalf of the technology operations team.

You will also be responsible for providing support and responding to alarms after hours as per the on-call roster.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced experience with radio broadcasting equipment.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced IT skills.
  • Audio and visual knowledge.
  • An understanding of OH&S requirements.
