Job Title: Senior Broadcast Technologist
About the Role:
- Maintain, upgrade, and respond to faults regarding studio, network, broadcast systems and transmission technology.
- Ensure continued high-quality support and effective broadcast technology operations.
- Provide preventative maintenance of technical equipment.
- Assist with related hardware and software support including Zetta, Axia, Q-Sys, Broadcast Bionics, NewsBoss.
- Assist with the design, planning and implementation of new technology and systems.
- Ensure any additions or changes to infrastructure are documented clearly and accurately.
- Maintain a high level of quality control on all work carried out by or on behalf of the technology operations team.
- Be available to provide support and respond to alarms after hours as per the on-call roster.
About You:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced experience with radio broadcasting equipment.
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Strong, clear, and concise verbal and written communication.
- The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Critical thinking, analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced IT skills.
- Audio and visual knowledge.
- Understanding of OH&S requirements.
