Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Broadcast Technologist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting studio, network, broadcast systems, and transmission technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-quality support and effective broadcast technology operations.
  • Provide preventative maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Assist with related hardware and software support including Zetta, Axia, Q-Sys, Broadcast Bionics, NewsBoss.
  • Design, plan, and implement new technology and systems.
  • Ensure any additions or changes to infrastructure are documented clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain quality control on all work carried out by or on behalf of the technology operations team.
  • Be available to provide support and respond to alarms after hours as per the on-call roster.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, advanced experience with radio broadcasting equipment, excellent organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills, strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills, and advanced IT skills.
