We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our organization. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and quality of life for our clients.
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as required.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Help with household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
- Previous experience in a similar role or relevant healthcare background.
- Mature, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- BASIC understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- First Aid & CPR Certification.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Check.
