Data Collection Opportunity

Get ready to become a key part of our live soccer data collection team We're seeking enthusiastic individuals with a genuine passion for soccer to join us in Tasmania, Australia.

This role involves collecting live data from local soccer matches. You'll need to be at the stadium about an hour before kick-off, stay for the match, and around 15 minutes afterward.

Requirements
  • Basic English Skills: Good spoken and written English is essential for this role.
  • Soccer Knowledge: A deep understanding and love for soccer will help you succeed in this position.
  • Age: You must be over 18 years old.
  • Location: Living up to 20 km from the city you apply for is necessary.
  • Mobile Device: An Android device (System 10 or higher) is required – please check app compatibility before applying.
  • Work Permit: Valid permission to work in Australia (or Australian citizenship) is mandatory.
  • Visa Status: Student Visas/Working Holiday Visas are also accepted.
  • Availability: You must be available to work on matchdays, arriving one hour before the match, staying for the entire game, and around 15 minutes after.
  • Pay: Competitive compensation of 135 AUD per event covered.
  • Casual Agreement: A casual agreement with financial bonuses based on data collection performance is offered.
  • Training Materials: Access to comprehensive online training materials is provided.
  • Travel Expenses: A travel expenses refund plan is in place.
  • Community Involvement: Inclusion in a global community of sports enthusiasts is a perk of this role.
  • Matchday Entry: Guaranteed matchday entry with official accreditation (free entrance, no ticket costs).
Conflicts of Interest
  • To maintain our operations' integrity, we follow guidelines outlined by the International Betting Integrity Association. We discourage applications from those directly employed or working regularly as freelancers with leagues or clubs where we collect data.
  • Employment or freelancing with betting operations of a sportsbook company is not allowed.
  • Providing operational services, such as software, to a sportsbook company is also not acceptable.
  • Collecting data for another organization in the same leagues where we operate is prohibited.
