About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Career Development Specialist. As a key member of our employment services team, your role will be to provide ongoing support to individuals in employment, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their career goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide regular telephone and face-to-face contact with participants to monitor their progress and address any barriers to continued employment.
- Work closely with participants to identify areas for improvement and develop tailored plans to enhance their employability skills and job prospects.
- Prepare and submit documentation in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with contractual and organisational requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employers and community groups, to promote our services and identify opportunities for collaboration.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our employment services, through data analysis and participation in quality assurance initiatives.
- Proven experience in employment services or a related field, with a strong understanding of career development principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with participants, employers and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the achievement of shared goals and objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
