We are seeking a dedicated Waste Management Specialist to join our team at Veolia ANZ in Dry Creek, South Australia.

About the Role

This is a stable permanent employment opportunity with a shift loading allowance and opportunities for further training and career development.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for following strict safety controls for the safe operation of the high temperature incinerator.
  • Loading waste materials into the process and closely monitoring the incineration process.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of bins through regular washing and sanitisation.
  • Ensuring processing areas and premises remain clean, organised, and efficient.
  • Adhering to and promoting strict safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Collaborating with team members to optimise waste management procedures.
  • Accurately recording and reporting operational data and any equipment issues.
  • Participating in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and safety regulations.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of waste management processes.
  • Demonstrating commitment to environmental sustainability in all aspects of the role.

What You'll Need

  • Forklift Licence (Desirable)
  • Certification in Working at Heights and Confined Space operations (Desirable)
  • Current First Aid certification (Desirable)
  • Ability to Pass Pre-employment Medical, Including Drug and Alcohol Screening
