Quarry Manager Job Overview

The Quarry Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of a quarry site. Key responsibilities include ensuring safety protocols are strictly adhered to, managing daily operations, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong leadership attributes, coupled with extensive knowledge of mining and quarrying principles.

Key qualifications include:

  • A current Practising Certificate or willingness to work towards gaining this qualification
  • 5 years' experience in mining or quarrying
  • Strong knowledge of the Mining & Quarrying Safety & Health Act & Regs
  • Strong knowledge of hard rock quarrying and crushing processes
  • Ability to understand financial performance, plan and manage budgets
  • Proven leadership experience in Quarrying Operations or Mining
