Job Title: Mine Site Operations Expert

A leading organization in the mining industry is seeking a highly skilled Mine Site Operations Expert to join their team.

About the Role:

The Mine Site Operations Expert will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all production crews through day-to-day operations. This includes working closely with supervisors and crew members, completing daily reports, adhering to regulatory guidelines, promoting a safety culture, and implementing mining efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and communicate effectively with Step-up Supervisors and crew members;
  • Complete daily OCE reports;
  • Adhere to regulatory and legislative guidelines at all times;
  • Promote the operation's safety culture each and every day;
  • Work closely with the Production Superintendent to implement mining efficiency's in the pit;
  • Conduct safety observations and correct behaviours / processes and promote these to your crew(s).

About You:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Your Open Cut Examiner's practising certificate;
  • 5+ years supervision (or step-up experience) in open cut / pit mining;
  • Acute people management and communication skills;

You should also be able to work and live in the Hunter Region NSW, and have a genuine passion for contributing to a highly successful and valuable team.
