The ideal candidate will lead the supply chain functions on a remote mine site, based in Asia.

\About the Role\

  • We are seeking an experienced supply chain leader to join our team and drive strategic objectives.\
  • This role is responsible for sustaining mining operations while working within prescribed policies and constraints.\
  • You will lead and manage the supply chain team to ensure effective integrated inventory management.\
  • Develop and implement services planning processes across operations, maintenance, and suppliers.\
  • Deliver the most economic and secure supply of goods and services.\
  • Optimize logistics services, including international freight, domestic freight forwarding, expediting, and customs compliance.\
  • Drive strategic KPIs, including procurement on contract, inventory optimization, and cost reduction.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.\
  • Implement process improvements and best practices to increase efficiency and productivity.\
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track performance metrics.\
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.\
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred.\
  • 5-10 years of supply chain management or leadership experience required.\
  • Experience in the mining industry, preferably as an expat or remote operation.\
  • Ability to work on a fly-in/fly-out roster.\
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.\
  • Able to travel frequently and work at heights.\
  • Must be willing to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.\
  • Must be able to lift up to 25kg.\
  • High level of self-motivation and discipline required.\
  • Results-oriented and proactive approach to problem-solving.\
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.\
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software and systems.\
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.\
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.\
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.\
