Support Officer to the Mayor
Mayoral Support Officers play a pivotal role in our region's success. They provide professional customer-focused administration, research, and support to the Mayor and Councillors while contributing to a whole-of-organisation approach to responding to customer requests for information and service.
About the Role- Provide comprehensive administrative support and executive assistant services to assist the Mayor to carry out their duties and council business.
- Manage the Mayor's diary, correspondence, and a large-volume email inbox with a high attention to detail.
This role requires strong time management, work prioritisation, and organisation skills with the ability to work both independently and interdependently to ensure work tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate diaries and schedules
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders
As a Support Officer to the Mayor, you will possess a Certificate III in Business Administration or similar, or have equivalent relevant experience in an administrative role.
