In this pivotal role, you will deliver high-quality administrative and patient support, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for patients, visitors, and clinicians.

About the Role
  • Welcome patients and visitors, and manage reception, phone, and email enquiries.
  • Confirm health fund coverage and prepare self-funding quotes.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, including ambulance check-ins.
  • Process payments, including cash handling and EFTPOS transactions.
  • Complete accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date patient records.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical and non-clinical teams.
About You

You will bring professionalism, empathy, and strong administrative capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Previous experience in hospital, medical reception, or health fund administration is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Meditech and/or Gentu systems is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with accurate data entry and keyboard skills, is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational ability is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone, are necessary.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team is required.
  • Experience in health fund billing is highly desirable.
