About the Role:
The Account Manager role is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in a global company. You will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, build strong relationships with customers, and be given ownership to create a work schedule that best suits you and your customers.
As an Account Manager, you will make sales by maintaining customer relationships, demonstrating our latest tools on the spot, and providing high-level customer consultation. Your patch will focus primarily in and around the Wollongong area, but will also cover Southern Highlands, Nowra, and down the coast to the NSW border.
Responsibilities:
- Building relationships – you'll be meeting with customers on a daily basis to capture business opportunities.
- Managing Time and Territory - creating a daily schedule to optimize client potential and sales productivity by zone territory.
- Tracking Progress – utilizing Salesforce to record all interactions as reporting is key part of this role.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification highly desirable.
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
- Eagerness to learn, motivated, and capable of working independently.
- Hands-on attitude – demonstrate our tools to customers, use platforms such as Salesforce, collaborate with various departments.
- Time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Maintain a valid full Australian driver's license – we'll provide a company car.
- Engineering qualification or construction industry experience preferred but not mandatory.
