Reservations Coordinator

The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

We are seeking a skilled Reservations Agent to join our dynamic team, working in a beautiful beachside resort with world-class facilities and luxury villas. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for ensuring guest expectations are exceeded, monitoring third-party extranets, confirming reservations, and promoting resort offers and promotions.

About the Role:

  • Ensure that guest expectations are met by paying close attention to detail with every accommodation booking
  • Monitor third-party extranets to follow up on any missed reservations or cancellations
  • Confirm reservations for rooms according to availability, adhere to current rates, and arrange billing according to resort procedures
  • Assist with group conferencing from initial contact to development of rooming lists
  • Convert telephone and online enquiries into bookings utilising your ability to engage and build rapport with guests
  • Stay up-to-date with and proactively promote resort offers and promotions

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with reservations systems, preferably Opera or similar
  • Intermediate to advanced skill level Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong sales focus and ability to upsell hotel features
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle multiple calls and enquiries simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience working in high-volume inbound call environments
