Medical Front Desk Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to manage our medical front desk operations in Melbourne.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service on the telephone and in person, ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Supporting specialists as a first point of contact, handling inquiries and responding to messages promptly.
  • Coordinating consulting sessions, including scheduling appointments, issuing invoices, and processing payments efficiently.
  • Ensuring high-quality presentation, written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and clarity.
  • Familiarity with Zedmed Medical Software (or similar), with ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Experience with TAC and Workcover is viewed favorably, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with various health funds and Medicare requirements, ensuring accurate and timely claims processing.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities, with strong experience in medical terminology and excellent organisational skills.
  • Availability to cover personal and annual leave with notice, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.
