Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Office Coordinator to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate appointments, manage schedules, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Process patient payments, handle Medicare rebates, and issue invoices as required.
  • Ensure the waiting area and reception desk are clean and presentable at all times.

Key Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., medical administration, business, or health sciences).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a medical setting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with medical software and systems, including electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems.
