Event Specialist Role in NSW

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Specialist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional events and engagement activities across the NSW region.

This is a permanent, full-time position within a dynamic team that forms part of an innovative culture offering opportunities for project involvement and collaborative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and execute end-to-end face-to-face and hybrid events with precision and attention to detail.
  • Develop and implement marketing materials and campaigns to promote events and engagement activities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Coordinate regional social media activation and member communication to foster engagement and participation.
  • Support local governance and member community groups and committees by providing administrative assistance and coordination.
  • Respond to member enquiries, interactions, and engagement in a timely and professional manner.
  • Utilize Salesforce case management, reporting, and monitoring tools to optimize event delivery and stakeholder engagement.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a similar events role, preferably within a corporate or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of organizing events, including planning, logistics, sponsorship, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, both internal and external, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and situations.
  • Impeccable problem-solving, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
  • Maintain a high level of personal presentation and polish during event delivery, with a focus on professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and adapting to changing requirements and priorities.
