About Event Marketing Specialist Position

The role of Event Marketing Specialist involves executing our event strategy to drive business growth and engagement. The key responsibilities include planning trade shows, local/regional events, and our own event series. This position requires working closely with marketing leadership to determine key events, manage resources, and track return on investment (ROI).

  • Oversee and manage event budgets, internal teams, and vendors.
  • Execute our event strategy, including identifying key events, internal team training, and event attendance.
  • Maintain relationships with associations and local network initiatives.
  • Uncover, write, and market customer success stories in the region.
  • Devise marketing campaigns to increase product awareness and sales opportunities.
  • Create a local community by hosting grassroots network events.
  • Generate content targeting the local market.
  • Negotiate and execute contracts for large and small-scale events.
  • Drive marketing-influenced pipeline and generate MQLs through onsite activations.
  • Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and MQL metrics.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with 2+ years of related marketing experience, ideally in event marketing, demand generation, or sales enablement. You should have proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts, be highly organized, and able to manage resources and personnel. Experience organizing and coordinating multiple events simultaneously is essential.

Your Success Path

In the first month, you will meet the marketing team and understand the business, values, and product. By the end of the second month, you will have meetings with cross-functional departments and start owning the events schedule.
