Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Event Fund Coordinator.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to recipients of the Regional Event Fund (REF) program, including coordination of scheduled meetings, invoicing and payment tracking, and overall project management for the program.

  • Maintain relationships with event stakeholders in the industry, including event owners and governing bodies, public sector event support agencies, venue management, sponsors and promoters, to enable strategic objectives for the REF.

  • Develop and maintain systems for monitoring and reporting for the REF program, seeking out opportunities to align with best practice program funding models.

Key Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in events or grants administration.

  • Demonstrated expertise in working collaboratively with colleagues and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to take initiative and be proactive.

  • Ability to deliver agreed outcomes, work effectively under pressure as part of a team, and independently to meet deadlines, organise work and set priorities.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

  • Project management, including financial reporting experience.

  • Excellent communication skills.
