Ausfeng Events is a leading Sydney-based promoter committed to enriching Australia's multicultural landscape through the performing arts. We have successfully presented hundreds of high-calibre Chinese performances and exhibitions, bringing global artists to Australian audiences.

The Role

As the
Marketing & Event Coordinator
, you will support the planning and execution of marketing, advertising, and public relations activities for a wide range of cultural events. This includes developing and managing integrated digital and offline campaigns, liaising with media and venue partners, and ensuring successful event delivery.

This is an on-site role based in Sydney and may involve occasional interstate travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute integrated marketing and advertising campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Maintain and optimise the company website, including SEO strategies (e.g., backlinking and keyword optimisation).
  • Develop engaging bilingual content (English and Chinese) for EDMs, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Work with PR/media agencies, venues, and ticketing partners to support promotional activities.
  • Assist in managing marketing budgets, timelines, and external supplier relationships.
  • Monitor campaign performance, audience engagement, and reporting metrics.
  • Provide on-the-ground support during events, including evenings and weekends as needed.

About You

You're an energetic, detail-oriented marketing professional with a passion for the performing arts and multicultural engagement. You thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and are always ready to bring creative ideas to the table.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2 years of relevant work experience
    in marketing, preferably within the arts, entertainment, or events industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, advertising, and integrated campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO practices, including backlinking and keyword strategy. Experience with Google Ads (AdWords) is desirable.
  • Proficiency in creating marketing content in both English and Mandarin.
  • Experience with website content management and page editing (e.g., WordPress or similar platforms).
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including outside regular business hours when required.
  • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
