Customer Service Representative

The Role

Our customer service representatives need to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of our customer service representatives is to deliver first-class services to our patrons, ensuring alignment with our mission, vision, and values. Successful candidates should be available early mornings and during the day.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to all customers
  • Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
  • Replenishing condiments as needed
  • Following health and safety guidelines
  • Cashier experience, including taking orders and handling cash
  • Applying sound cash handling principles and using Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Promoting the centre's services and programs to patrons
  • Developing and maintaining good relationships with patrons
  • Providing information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
  • Working mornings, evenings, and weekends; hours may increase during peak periods

Requirements include:

  • Positive, friendly, helpful, and energetic work style
  • Coffee making/barista skills
  • Food handling certificate
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • Current Food Handlers Qualification
  • Police Check
  • Working with Vulnerable People clearance
  • Flexibility during peak periods

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and customer service mindset are encouraged to apply.
