Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
Key Responsibilities- Oversight of accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, payroll, and monthly reporting obligations such as GST, BAS, ATO, WorkCover, superannuation, sales commissions, and overseas office salaries.
- Management of local and international supplier remittances, quarterly financial reporting (including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow), and supporting budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with sales and production teams.
- Implementation of internal controls to manage risk and ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
- 5+ years of experience in senior accounting capacity.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, payroll, and month-end processes.
- Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, ATO, superannuation, and compliance.
- Financial reporting and analysis skills to support business decisions.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
- Effective stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills.
- A close-knit and collaborative team environment.
- Parking onsite.
