Effective financial management is a critical component of any successful business.
The role of Senior Management Accountant plays a pivotal part in ensuring the Retail Gas Division within Energy Markets operates efficiently and effectively.
- Key responsibilities include delivering and controlling financial and project accounting activities for the Retail Gas Business.
- To improve transparency and enable informed decision making, develop reporting and review processes that provide actionable insights into business performance.
- Foster digital transformation through innovative technologies such as SAP, SQL, and ThinkCell.
A successful candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, effective problem-solving abilities, and a focus on continuous improvement in financial operations.
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential, along with 5+ years post-qualification experience in a financial/commercial capacity, preferably in an enterprise organisation.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Utilise problem-solving abilities and customer/stakeholder orientation through data and insights.
