About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Fruit and Vegetable Team Leader to join our team at Hill Street. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of fresh produce professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of fresh produce staff to achieve excellent customer service and sales results.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive team performance and engagement.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience working in a fresh produce department.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness for lifting and standing.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
