Job Summary

The successful candidate will oversee project management, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and quality in fire engineering design. Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead and resource the fire engineering team, reporting directly to the CEO and Building Services Directors.">
  • Manage a team of engineers, including mentoring junior engineers, apprentices, and graduates.">
  • Oversee the production of design deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards, project briefs, and client requirements.">
  • Engage directly with clients, delivering presentations, and managing client relationships on key projects.">

Requirements:

">

To succeed in this role, you will need:

">
  • ">
  • A degree relevant to fire engineering, building services engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent M&E construction experience and qualifications.">
  • Professional affiliation or chartership (e.g., MIFire E, CEng, MCIBSE) is highly desirable.">
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a fire engineering role within building services or general construction.">
  • A strong understanding of the commercial aspects of engineering projects.">
  • Experience with fire engineering software such as Pyro Sim, FDS, or similar tools is advantageous but not essential.">
