Support Professional

We are seeking a Support Professional to work with our 36 year old male client who requires assistance with daily living tasks, including managing complex needs associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the individual with his morning routine, which may take several hours
  • Support him during activities such as swimming, going for walks, and visiting Sea Life Aquarium
  • Engage in interests that promote his overall well-being, including trains, LEGO, yoga, and favourite meals
  • Implement and follow a structured routine that ensures a calm and predictable environment, while also addressing anxiety and compulsive behaviours
  • Provide assistance with maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards

**Requirements:**

  • Proficiency in technology and computer skills is essential to facilitate the client's interests and daily routine needs
  • Ability to demonstrate patience, resilience, and understanding when dealing with challenging situations
  • Capacity to thrive in a routine-oriented environment and maintain structure and organisation
  • A laid-back personality with the initiative to keep the individual engaged and active throughout the day
