Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Spring Professional. As a key member of our property development team, you will play a crucial role in securing new retailers for one of Australia's largest shopping centre groups.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established company that excels in property development, design, construction, asset management, leasing, and marketing for a large network of luxury shopping centres.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving business growth, building strong relationships, and negotiating with key stakeholders. Previous experience in shopping centres is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and secure new retailers for our shopping centres
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth within our centres
  • Participate in strategy meetings to optimize tenancy mix across our portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with our centre teams, including marketing, leasing, and centre management
  • Manage relationships with tenants and contractors
  • Liaise with project fit-out and design teams for new store projects
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a Business Development role, sales, or account management
  • High level of professional customer service to internal and external parties
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven new business development experience
  • Passion for retail or interest in the retail landscape
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
