HSE Specialist - Safety Excellence Partner

About the Role:

EG Australia is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist to partner with business areas to drive continuous improvement and excellence in HSE systems and culture.

This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane, offering a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide high-level HSE support, partner with stakeholders, and develop and deliver ongoing HSE initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing HSE advice and support to Operational Managers and other key stakeholders.
  • Coaching and guiding stakeholders in the implementation of HSE processes.
  • Managing organisational risk relating to HSE matters.
  • Leading incident investigations and completing HSE reporting for EG Australia and global EG Group.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HSE or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in an advisor-level HSE role in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for safety and commitment to creating a safe working environment.
