Job Title: Safety Leadership Manager

This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing the health, safety and wellbeing functions across an organisation.


The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice to senior executives on all aspects of occupational health and safety management.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements, including legislation, national and international standards and codes of practice.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety accreditations.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of HSE professionals based around Australia.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 5 years in senior leadership positions.
  • Formal qualifications in WHS are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of HSE professionals.

This is a challenging role that requires:

  • Demonstrated expertise in occupational health and safety management principles.
  • The ability to research, investigate and analyse complex issues, and engage with stakeholders to identify solutions.
  • Strong report writing and analytical skills.
