Heavy Vehicle Workshop Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled workshop leader to join our team.
The successful candidate will have a recognized Heavy Diesel Motor mechanic trade certificate and excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Mentor, lead, and direct the workshop team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality work output.
- Diagnose, service, and repair equipment to meet customer expectations.
- Assist the service manager with job costing and quotations.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service at all times.
- Direct and mentor the workshop team for optimal performance.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Collaborate with the service manager on cost management and client communication.
Required Skills:
- Australian recognized Heavy Diesel Motor mechanic trade certificate.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and motivate others.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills and diagnostic tool knowledge.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Electrical diagnostics experience (desired).
