High Salary Workshop Manager – Technician – Launceston, TAS

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to head our workshop team in Launceston. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high level of self-motivation, and the ability to work without direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor, lead, and direct the workshop team
- Diagnose, service, and repair equipment to meet customer expectations
- Assist with job costing, quotations, and retail repairs
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service at all times
- Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Motor mechanic trade certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Proven ability to identify and resolve problems
- Good computer skills with standard PC programs and equipment diagnostic tools
- Experience in maintenance, servicing, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and repairs (desired)
