DIESEL MECHANIC - HEAVY VEHICLES- WORKSHOP - LAUNCESTON

We are also looking for qualified Diesel Technicians in Hobart.

Our client is a National Truck Dealership with sites across Tasmania, who require a qualified diesel technician for their Launceston site. Working in a State-of-the-art dealership in a well-oiled team.

This is a major Tasmanian dealership representing the Mack, Volvo, UD and Isuzu Trucks brands.

We will offer the right person a solid career path, with a super package - hourly rate, super, uniforms and product training when required.

Required skills:

  • Hold a relevant Trade Certificate: minimum Light Vehicle, Heavy Diesel preferred.
  • Heavy vehicles / Automotive service experience
  • General servicing, brakes, engine re-builds, gearbox work etc.
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's licence (Heavy Vehicle desirable)
  • Diagnostic capabilities preferred

  • Excellent communication skills- able to work well in a team

  • Excellent time management skills

  • OH& S observation and compliance

  • Ability to engage with other team members.

  • Excellent communication and presentation

  • Punctual- able to work overtime when required
  • Must have the right to work within Australia
