Job Summary

Our company seeks a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Governance Research Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will conduct research, analyze corporate governance and financial information, and provide insightful reports on publicly traded companies in mainland China and Taiwan.

About the Role

  • Analyze corporate governance and financial data to identify trends and insights that inform investment decisions.
  • Conduct research on corporate governance best practices, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of corporate governance, securities regulations, and proxy voting issues in mainland China and Taiwan.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective governance solutions.
  • Communicate complex ideas and findings through clear and concise reports, presentations, and discussions.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory environments and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, law, economics, business, accounting, political science, or international relations.
  • Master's degree in a related field or MBA or CFA qualifications preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in research and analysis or related fields.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Chinese (simplified and traditional) and English.
  • Strong analytical ability, including financial statement literacy and attention to detail.
  • Goal-oriented, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to prioritize multiple objectives under tight deadlines.
  • Strong organization skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
  • Passion for corporate governance research.
