Job Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation maintenance, with experience in managing and mentoring teams.

This role involves leading the ramp up and preparedness of sovereign capability, as well as overseeing personnel recruitment, onboarding, mandatory training, site access, leave, time accounting, and on-the-job skilling for apprentices and aircraft workers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance and efficiency.
  • Manage relationships between stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the Maintenance Operations Manager in governing a multidisciplinary team delivering technical and logistics services.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a formal qualification in Part 145 Aviation Maintenance Organisation and/or Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Training Organisation.
  • Possess a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence with supervisory exclusion removed.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exhibit business acumen to prioritize stakeholder needs and deconflict competing demands.
  • Display emotional intelligence to intuitively identify and address stakeholder needs in a high-pressure environment.
