Aviation Technical Leader Position

Job Description:
">We are seeking a talented and professional individual to lead the ramp up and preparedness of sovereign capability in Townsville. This role will involve managing and mentoring a team of technical personnel undergoing training in Diploma Aeroskills and Cert II Aircraft Line Maintenance pathways.
">Responsibilities:

- Lead the ramp up and preparedness of sovereign capability in Townsville">
- Manage personnel recruitment and onboarding, mandatory training, site access, leave, time accounting and on-the-job skilling for apprentices and aircraft workers">
- Support the Maintenance Operations Manager in governing a multidisciplinary team of employees and Subcontractors delivering technical and logistics services to the 1 Aviation Regiment (1Avn) Operational Unit at RAAF Base Townsville and Army Aviation Training Centre (AAvnTC)">
- Liaise with Defence Stakeholders and external agencies">
Requirements:
">The successful applicant will have formal qualifications in either Part 145 Aviation Maintenance Organisation and/or Part 147 Aviation Maintenance Training Organisation, a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence with supervisory exclusion removed, excellent communication skills, business acumen, emotional intelligence and experience in training, managing and leading teams of technical personnel in an aviation maintenance environment.
