This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as a Strategic Workforce Planner, ensuring the smooth delivery of research projects.
You will be responsible for forecasting and modeling demand, solving resourcing challenges, and adjusting plans when priorities shift. Your work will directly shape the success of our projects and ensure high-quality research is delivered to clients across Australia.
Main Responsibilities- Own and maintain a live view of workforce availability and capacity across all projects.
- Anticipate and resolve workforce gaps, working closely with Recruitment and Field Managers.
- Lead workforce planning cycles - from short-term forecasts through to quarterly and annual outlooks.
- Partner with Operations, Project Managers, and Field Leaders to align workforce supply with business priorities.
- Provide reporting, insights, and scenario modelling to guide operational and resourcing decisions.
- 3-5 years in workforce planning, scheduling, or operations management for large casual workforces.
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute workforce plans at scale.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with workforce or planning systems.
- Strong data interpretation, forecasting, and scenario-modelling skills.
- Exceptional communication skills - able to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
