Business Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Business Operations Specialist to provide commercial support, analysis, and insight into meat logistics at Woolworths in partnership with the Greenstock, Primary Connect, and Hilton Foods leadership teams.

  • Ensure financial integrity between Woolworths, Hilton Foods Australia's manufacturing operations, and freight provider Primary Connect.
  • Provide insights on our weekly and monthly performance for our end-to-end meat logistics and inventory, including visualisations of Financial and Non-Financial Key Performance Indicators.
  • Provide insights to costs of our manufacturing meat operations and recommendations for improvements.
  • Business partner to support value-creation opportunities by identifying initiatives to optimise meat profitability and working capital.
  • Develop capabilities to generate forward-looking information for meat logistics and inventory.
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Senior Business Analyst.

Requirements

  • CA/CAPA qualification or working towards.
  • Strong data analysis and Excel modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to a broad audience; able to make the complex simple.
  • Experience with generating insights, storytelling, and creating a narrative for stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • GCP or SAP experience is an advantage.
