About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Pacific National. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations leaders and teams across various functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations leaders to provide strategic HR advice and support, enabling them to drive business success.
  • Interpret and advise on award and enterprise agreement matters, ensuring compliance and effective implementation.
  • Conduct investigations and provide recommendations to the business, promoting a fair and inclusive work environment.
  • Provide day-to-day HR generalist advice and support to line managers, addressing employment-related matters and fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures aligned with relevant industrial agreements and legislation, driving HR best practices.
  • Collaborate with leaders throughout the employee lifecycle, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, career development, labor planning, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess a degree in HR or a related field, combined with relevant experience in an industrial or blue-collar environment. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of HR policy, employment law, and employee relations, with a proven track record of behaviors aligned with best practice and company values.

Candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills, be confident problem solvers, and collaborative team players, with a proactive and structured approach to delivering results. A goal-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively will thrive in this position.
