About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Tandem Partners as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner in our Sydney office. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources you will lead and manage the people agenda for specified teams and play the role of trusted advisor, who understands the business and its priorities and builds strong relationships which provide both support and challenge.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and drive HR initiatives to increase engagement and people capability.
  • Work closely with HR centres of expertise of both a local and global nature.
  • Liaise with senior leaders to provide commercial decisions and influence business outcomes.
  • Manage a small team and be accountable for their performance.
  • Develop and execute talent management strategies to enhance organisational capabilities.
  • Provide expert advice on reward, employee relations, engagement, mobility, performance management, and capability.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working within a dynamic corporate environment in a broad HR Manager role.
  • Ability to work autonomously at times, make commercial decisions, and influence senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a small team.
  • Superior consulting skills with the ability to see strategy through to execution.
  • Commercial thinking & acumen.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management/relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to achieve business objectives.
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline.
