We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our Retail team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to partner with the Commercial team and drive business outcomes through effective employee relations.

The successful candidate will have a background in Human Resources, a Bachelor degree, and 5+ years of experience in the retail industry. They will be comfortable working with various stakeholders, gathering requirements, and presenting information on best practices.

Job Description

This role reports directly to the ANZ HR team and supports the Affiliate's employee relations activities. The key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the Commercial team to support all employee-related matters;
  • Managing the Retail HR team to ensure they achieve their goals and maximize their potential;
  • Collaborating with Senior HR Manager and Retail HR Executives to identify and build talent plans across Point of Sales teams;
  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies during the hiring process;
  • Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and resolution;
  • Assuming ownership for National Enterprise Agreement; ensuring time and attendance practices are compliant with labour laws, regulations, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A strong background in Human Resources;
  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience);
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and offer innovative solutions;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
