Financial and Client Transaction Specialist

The Claims Management Group plays a pivotal role in achieving Comcare's strategic objectives, focusing on delivering an effective and sustainable workers' compensation scheme for the Australian Public Service.
This team performs crucial financial and client-facing services to support claims business in managing claims transactions.
- Includes calculation and transactional processing of accounts payable and weekly incapacity benefits.
- Reconciles financial information across various sources, identifies anomalies, and addresses these within legislative and policy frameworks.
The team develops and implements financial recovery programs where opportunities are identified.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe Financial and Client Services Support Officer is responsible for:
- Registration of new claims
- Claims Contact Centre tasks
- Administrative and processing tasks including payment processing
- Accurate receipting and recording of records
Contributes to the achievement of key performance indicators for the Financial and Client Services team.
RequirementsA desirable experience working in a public sector context is considered advantageous.
