About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Fraud Investigator to join our team at Chandler Macleod. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting complex and sensitive criminal investigation activities in accordance with the Agency processes and the Australian Government Investigation Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilising a Certificate IV in Government Investigations, or its equivalent, to support investigation activities.
  • Conducting interviews, preparing statements and affidavits, collecting, securing and managing evidential material and confidential information.
  • Assisting with the preparation of cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant parties.
  • Representing the Agency and giving evidence in criminal and civil courts.
  • Analysing, processing information and producing accurate and informative reports.

About You:

  • You will have high level interpersonal skills.
  • You will have ability to work in a team environment and autonomously.
  • You will have ability to analyse and process information to produce accurate and informative reports.
  • You will have ability to use computer/software applications including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
  • You will have ability to analyse various forms of information to form a conclusion.
  • You will have attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
  • You will have Fraud Intelligence and or regulatory experience.
  • You will have experience having lead a successful prosecution case in criminal court.
