APS 5 Level Fraud Investigator Position

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Fraud Investigator (APS5 level) in a key role within the Scheme, focusing on fraud detection and response.
This position requires engaging with internal and external stakeholders, managing investigations, and preparing evidence for criminal or civil court proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent to support sensitive criminal investigations.
- Conduct interviews, prepare statements and manage confidential information.
- Assist in preparing cases and briefs of evidence for referral to authorities like the AFP and Commonwealth DPP.
- Represent the Scheme and provide evidence in criminal and civil courts.
- Analyse and process information to produce accurate and informative reports.
- Assist with search warrant execution, which may involve travel and extended hours.

About You
We are looking for an investigator who is committed to ensuring integrity and transparency in their work. You will bring strong communication skills and investigative experience to this position.
Required Skills:
- Well-developed written communication skills.
- Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations (or equivalent).
Desirable Skills:
- Traditional policing background.
- Experience leading a successful prosecution case in criminal court.
