We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Hardship Specialist. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and empathize with customers.
About the Role:- Navigate financial hardship claims with emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Assess the account holder's financial position.
- Negotiate payment arrangements.
- Work towards having the account holder back into regular paying status.
- Review supporting documentation to make informed decisions.
- Manage financial hardship cases from initial contact through to resolution.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve accounts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and efficient case progression.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Proven experience in a financial services or collections environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with financial software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
